Yeah, I agree! I have a sighting for you guys, too. I was in English class last Friday and I thought I heard a high-pitched hiccup like sound behind me, but there was so much noise that I wasn't 100% sure it was a hiccup. Then I heard it again. And a few seconds later, I heard it again. So I turned around just as a girl who sits behind me and two seats over hiccuped for like the fourth time in a row. She kind of lowered her chin to her chest. She is African American, and is tall and slender. She was wearing a regular, kind of tight-fitting pale green shirt that day, but I didn't really study the details that much as I'm not really into studying females. Anywho, she saw me looking at her and she kind of smiled sheepishly as she hiccuped again. They were the basic high pitched "hic!" girly kind. They lasted for about another fifteen minutes and were pretty regular, about 6 or 7 seconds apart. At one point she said to someone beside her "I hate these damn things" and it was wierd because the word "things" was part of a hiccup. It's like she hiccuped as she said the word but she continued speaking at the same time, so it sounded like "thiiiings". Wierd, I can't really describe it all that well. But that's my sighting.
While I'm on a roll, one of my friends from last year, Christin, got them while we were walking back from choir class one day. That girl has the deepest and loudest hiccups I have ever heard. They sounded like they came from deep in her throat, and were loud and almost sounded like a belch or something. But you could tell they were actually strong hiccups. Whenever she hiccuped, her head and neck would retract upwards and backwards, like they were being pulled back by a string or something. I guess her hiccups were that strong. I have never seen anyone's body react to hiccups quite like that. And they were really loud, too. Now Christin is short, has medium length brown hair and is not exactly slim but not fat (although she's on the chubby side). She kept going, dammit! Dammit! I will NOT hiccup again! And then she hiccups again. You guys would've loved it if you were there. My description may not be all that exciting, but if you were there you'd like it. I would've enjoyed it a lot better if she'd been a guy though, but it was a good sighting all the more.
